My sweet little boy turned five on August 2nd. I can't even believe he's five already, seems like yesterday my water broke and I was on the way to the hospital to have him. He is such a joy and a cherished member of our family.
He is very much his own little man. He didn't take his first steps until he was 18 months old, walked regularly when he was 21 months old. He didn't potty train until he was four! He likes to do things in his own time but don't let that make you think he isn't brilliant because he is.
He loves cars, trains and planes. He says cement mixer so funny and I know I'll be sad when he starts to say it correctly. He is obsessed with the solar system and can name all the plants in order! The highlight of his summer was going to the library to check out books about the solar system and then reading them together. When we weren't reading the books he would line them up in order on the floor.
I love my sweet Evan and I look forward to watching him grow and learn.
